I visited Savannah, Georgia for the first time last weekend and fell in love. The big Oak trees with Spanish Moss draping the branches are so beautiful. Savannah has the feel of an old soul. Such a charming place.
The great thing about living in the South is a quick road trip can get you to so many cool places whether it’s in Georgia, the Carolinas, Florida, or elsewhere. Driving to Savannah was a 3.5 hour car ride. Completely doable, even with 2 toddlers.
On our first day there, we went to The Public House for dinner, which was amazing. Then we waited in a line that went half way down the block for Leopold’s Ice Cream. Their serving size was on 200. And I, for one, was not mad. Plus the weather was perfection so we finished the day with a nice stroll around town. It was a great day.
I’m just getting to know Savannah, so any recommendations for next time are appreciated. I’ll definitely be back.
Peace. ❤️
