Travel: St. Louis Summer Trip

momlife, travel

Peace to you! Man, what’s good people. I took a break from blogging this summer. That Mercury Retrograde just took me clean out. Can anyone relate?

My birthday was July 12. I celebrated with a honey body massage & foot rub (fire), then went to this slightly side-eye worthy day party in Atlanta with my girls. It was enjoyable tho. Another year here on Earth…all gratitude.

So I took my babies to St. Louis for a much needed change of scenery. I was finally able to meet my nephew Lincoln. (A cutie)

Of course I had to take Langston & Josephine to the Saint Louis Zoo…one of the best in the country and free. We also visited the Magic House. They loved it all.

What do you like to do in St Louis with young children?

#MooretoLove Wedding

So my little brother got married this summer and I could not have been happier for him and my new sister-in-law. I don’t know many couples as perfectly matched as they are.

Wedding season is usually a lot about what you’re going to wear for the occasion, and with this being my brother’s wedding, I couldn’t just roll up in any old thing. I found this Dress the Population dress (that I’m lowkey highkey obsessed with) at Macy’s the week before the wedding. I may just pull a Tiffany Haddish and rock this at all my formal-ish affairs from now on.

Aside from that, my baby boy Langston got his first haircut so he could be extra fresh… and I wanted to shed a thug tear. Who is dis child with the crispy lining?! And why are you trying to grow up?! As adorable as his haircut is, I really just want it to grow back so he can be my little baby with the wild hair forever.
